1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a tour package with Kashmir Shama Travels ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), you ("Customer", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement.

2. Booking & Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment and written confirmation from Kashmir Shama Travels. Verbal confirmations are not binding.

• An advance payment of 25–50% of the total package cost is required to confirm a booking.
• The balance must be paid at least 7 days before the tour departure date.
• For last-minute bookings (within 7 days of departure), 100% payment is required at the time of booking.

3. Pricing & Inclusions

All prices quoted are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are per person on twin/double sharing basis unless stated otherwise. Prices include only the services specifically mentioned in the package inclusions. Any service not listed is excluded.

• Prices are subject to change during peak seasons (June–August, December–January) and major festivals.
• GST and applicable taxes are included in the quoted price unless stated otherwise.
• Child rates are available for children below 12 years — contact us for details.

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing (email or WhatsApp) and are subject to the following charges:

• Cancellation 30+ days before departure: 10% of total tour cost
• Cancellation 20–29 days before departure: 25% of total tour cost
• Cancellation 10–19 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost
• Cancellation 5–9 days before departure: 75% of total tour cost
• Cancellation less than 5 days before departure: 100% (no refund)
• No-shows or early departure: No refund

5. Itinerary Changes

Kashmir Shama Travels reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, road closures, natural calamities, political unrest, or any other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will offer the best available alternative at no extra cost. No refund will be provided for such changes.

6. Travel Documents

It is the customer's responsibility to carry valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License, Voter ID) for all members of the group throughout the trip. Kashmir requires special Inner Line Permits for certain areas in Ladakh — these are arranged by us as part of the package where applicable.

7. Health & Fitness

Customers must be in good physical health to undertake tours to high-altitude areas like Ladakh. We strongly recommend consulting a physician before travelling to altitudes above 3,000 metres. The Company is not liable for any health emergencies arising during the tour.

8. Liability Disclaimer

Kashmir Shama Travels acts as an agent for hotels, transport providers, and other service suppliers. We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or irregularity caused by these third parties. Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the tour package.

9. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and loss of baggage. Kashmir Shama Travels is not responsible for any losses that could have been covered by travel insurance.

10. Conduct

Travellers are expected to behave respectfully toward local customs, religious sites, and other travellers. The Company reserves the right to remove any traveller from the tour who behaves in a manner that is disruptive, offensive, or illegal. No refund will be provided in such cases.

11. Force Majeure

Kashmir Shama Travels shall not be liable for any failure to perform obligations under these terms due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, war, or civil unrest.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir.
